2012 INDUCTEE ELISHA MARIE JOHNSON (THOMS)

Elisha Marie Johnson (Thoms) began racing in the 1980’s and became one of the fastest girls to race BMX in Nebraska. She was the Number One Girl rider in Nebraska many times during the 1980’s.

Elisha rode on legendary Nebraska teams such as Earl’s Bicycle Factory and GRIZZ.

Elisha’s parents, Joel Thoms and Tammy Parker-Thoms built and operated the first Star City BMX race track in Lincoln, Nebraska. Star City BMX in Lincoln, has a rich history and is still running races today.
