2011 INDUCTEE TONY CECH

Tony “Little Fuzz” Cech
Mr. Bike BMX Team Member

Tony Cech was an original member of the Mr. Bike BMX Race Team from Lincoln, Nebraska. “Hyper”…high strung, excitable and very active. That was the definition of Tony. No one knew what was coming next! He is the son of Bernie and younger brother of David, both who were BMX pioneers. He was the youngest rider to ever race at Yankee Hill. At the time, he was the youngest rider to be sponsored by a bike shop, Mr Bike. He was 1979 Northeast YMCA points champion when he was eight years old. He was never afraid to go head to head with the factory riders, in fact, beating them quite a bit. Of course Tony had an advantage, he hung out with his older brother and all of the older Hall of Fame guys.

Tony has continued his involvment in the bicycle industry through his job at Cycle Works in Lincoln, Nebraska. Tony was inducted into the Nebraska BMX Hall of Fame on August 27th, 2011.
