2010 INDUCTEE RANDY CALFEE

Randy Calfee was the team manager of the infamous Freewheelin’ BMX Race Team from Lincoln, Nebraska. He formed one of the most successful bike shop teams in Nebraska history with a lineup that included his son Todd, Joe Baumert, Rex Reason, Tim Lillethorup and Steve Gavin. Many team trophies were won under Randy’s guidance. He was also instrumental in the races at the YMCA track in Lincoln, Nebraska. Randy was also a volunteer at many of the races he and his son Todd traveled to throughout the midwest in the late 70’s and early 80’s. He could often be found dropping the gate at Gnarlsbad BMX in Omaha. Randy was inducted into the Nebraska BMX Hall of Fame on August 21st, 2010.
