NEBRASKA BMX HALL OF FAME – 2025 NOMINEES ANNOUNCEMENT

As the first official State BMX Hall of Fame in America, we’re proud to continue celebrating the rich heritage and legacy of Nebraska BMX. For 2025, we’re keeping the momentum going by honoring even more of the riders, trailblazers, and visionaries who helped shape the sport in our state.

What’s New in 2025

This year, we’re doing something a little different:
We’re teaming up with the Super Rad BMX Podcast to produce a special Hall of Fame episode! This feature will highlight our newest inductees with in-depth interviews, stories of their contributions, and a look at what made them standout figures in Nebraska BMX. We’ll also catch up with current Hall of Fame members, making it an episode fans won’t want to miss!

Looking Ahead to 2026

We’re laying the groundwork now for a full-blown Nebraska BMX Hall of Fame Reunion and Awards Banquet in 2026!
Our goal is to bring every past inductee to the stage, while also honoring the 2025 and 2026 classes in person. The planning committee is actively researching venues and dates to make this an unforgettable event for the Nebraska BMX family.

New in 2025 – Freestyle BMX Category

We’re excited to announce the addition of a brand-new Freestyle BMX category to our Hall of Fame. This joins our existing categories for:

1970s Riders
1980s Riders
1990s Riders
Track Operators

How do I nominate someone for the Nebraska BMX Hall of Fame?

As always, we’re starting with a preliminary list of nominees, including carry-overs from previous years. Have someone in mind who deserves to be on the list? Let us know!
