2012 INDUCTEE TAMMY PARKER-THOMS

Joel Richard Thoms and Tammy Parker-Thoms were honored for their instrumental role in bringing BMX to Lincoln. Working closely with the city, they helped establish Star City BMX and dedicated countless hours to building and operating the track during its formative years. Their children, Dusty and Elisha Thoms, grew up on the track, competing locally before traveling nationwide to race in regional and national ABA BMX events.

The Thoms family remained a driving force at Star City BMX well into the 1990s, leaving a lasting mark on the Nebraska BMX community.
