Promoter of Nebraska Indoor Racing with Ron Holman

Frank and Jeanette Sklenicka began taking their son Brice to the first BMX races in Nebraska where they met up with Ron, Darlene and Scott Holman. The two families shared a common interest in BMX racing as well as Sprint Car racing. Frank was always the go-to-man at any BMX race. Whether it was running the starting gate, watering the track or organizing an entire event, Frank was the first man on the job. He and Jeanette volunteered countless hours at the Lincoln YMCA track. Frank worked with Ron Holman as the co-promoter of the indoor racing at Omaha’s Civic Auditorium and of the River City BMX track in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Frank was inducted into the Nebraska BMX Hall of Fame on August 21st, 2010.
