2010 INDUCTEE DAVE CECH

Dave “Fuzzy” Cech was an original member of the Mr. Bike BMX Race Team from Lincoln, Nebraska. He was a pioneer in the sport during the early days of Bicycle Motocross racing. He raced at the first BMX track in Nebraska – Yankee Hill BMX under the National Bicycle Association (NBA) sanction. Dave also raced in the American Bicycle Association (ABA) sanction. Dave was a front runner in is age class, winning often, and doing it in style. Dave, along with his father Bernie, and younger brothers, were friends to every rider. Dave’s father Bernie became the owner of the famous Mr. Bike bicycle shop in Lincoln, Nebraska. With Cech family leadership, the Mr. Bike racing team continued with much success into the 1980s. Dave and Bernie were inducted into the Nebraska BMX Hall of Fame on August 21st, 2010.
