2010 INDUCTEE DOUG OLSON

Doug Olson was an original member of the Mr. Bike BMX Race Team from Lincoln, Nebraska. He was a pioneer in the sport during the early days of Bicycle Motocross racing. He helped build the first BMX track in Nebraska – Yankee Hill BMX under the National Bicycle Association (NBA) sanction. Doug also raced in the American Bicycle Association sanction. He was the first rider from Nebraska to receive a sponsorship from a major BMX manufacturer. He rode for the Factory Torker Team from 1978 through the 1980’s. He was inducted into the Nebraska BMX Hall of Fame on August 21st, 2010.
