Brice Sklenicka was one of the original BMXers from Nebraska. He raced for many years, traveling with his friend Scott Holman and their parents. Brice and his parents Frank and Jeanette Sklenicka volunteered many hours at tracks like the Lincoln YMCA.

Brice was a stong, powerful rider for his age. In the years from 1977 until the early 1980's he was a force to be reckoned with at tracks throughout the Midwest. Traveling long distances with his parents and some of the older riders, Brice would make mains in states from Nebraska to Kansas, Oklahoma and even Arizona. The brown Sklenicka Chevy van with Brice riding co-pilot was a regular on the BMX scene. If there was an important BMX race, the van would roll up and Brice would jump out, ready to ride.

Brice was inducted into the Nebraska BMX Hall of Fame on August 21st, 2010.
