Bill Gossin was the Bill in "Bill's Bicycle Barn". He operated a small bicycle shop in the Field Club neighborhood in Omaha, Nebraska near 45th and Center Streets. Bill's was the first bike shop in Omaha to carry BMX bicycles and components. Soon some of the local Field Club kids were talking to Bill about racing - and as luck would have it - some of the west Omaha kids found Bill's Bike Barn at about the same time.

The combined energy of the mid-town kids and the west-O kids, along with Bill's interest in BMX were the recipe for the makings of a BMX Team and by 1976 a race track north of town on land belonging to a friend of Bill's. It was the track that would become the legendary Spinnin' Spokes BMX Track.

Bill Gossin was inducted into the Nebraska BMX Hall of Fame on August 21, 2010.
