Todd Frauen was an original member of the Mr. Bike BMX Race Team from Lincoln, Nebraska. He was a pioneer in the sport during the early days of Bicycle Motocross racing. He helped build and raced at the first BMX track in Nebraska – Yankee Hill BMX under the National Bicycle Association (NBA) sanction. He also raced in the American Bicycle Association (ABA) PRO Class during the 1979 - 1980 seasons. Todd was inducted into the Nebraska BMX Hall of Fame on August 21st, 2010.

Todd, along with his close friend Doug Olson, was instrumental in getting BMX started in Lincoln, Nebraska. Todd and Doug grew up in the same neighborhood and shared a common interest in riding at their local trails. Together they are responsible for contacting Mr. BIke about starting Yankee Hill BMX and the legendary Mr. Bike Shop BMX Team. Todd and Doug worked together to recruit younger riders and parents to build Yankee Hill and then a few years later they played key roles in the development of the Lincoln YMCA track. Todd and Doug built the first mechanical starting gate in Nebraska, welding it in shop class in their Senior year at Lincoln High School and ending the era of hand-thrown wooden starting gates in Nebraska.

Todd continued to race BMX into the early 1980's competing in the ABA Pro class.
